We have an early reader in our family. We knew he was a smart kid, but we didn’t know he was *this* smart.

So we took Isaac to his pediatric cardiologist today. His heart test done about 1 1/2 months ago came back normal, which is great! We suspected he was doing very well without his medication and therefore it looks like he has outgrown his heart problem. Praise God! It is definitely a relief knowing he is going to be okay and have a normal childhood. The doctor wants to see him again in 6 months for a follow up, which I am happy about. They said that recurrence of the tachycardia is rare, and gave us warnings to watch for. I am still watching him as any parent would, but he is out of the woods. Hooray!
Today, during breakfast, Isaac was reading his cereal box. He was asking “please” for something on the table, I gave him the box, and he grabbed it, set it in front of himself and started to “read.” I took pictures, but will have to post them later. He was pointing at the box and “talking.” Where does he get this from? Heh. His talking lately has consisted of him rolling his tongue from side to side and making a “dithl” sound. This just cracks me up.

Last week, I was making dinner and Jeff was playing with Isaac. The weather was beautiful and Isaac wanted to go outside on our back patio. Jeff let him out there and then Jeff said Isaac pointed to the water hose and wanted to water the flowers. Agreeing the flowers needed water, I let them go for it. Isaac loves the water and in no time he was holding his hands under the water and laughing. Next thing you know there was some mud created from the watering and well….

We made it home from a weekend away in LA safe and sound. Isaac had a great time with his cousins. We forgot to take the camera, otherwise there would be picts to see.
I am now a Creative Memories consultant… awaiting my new start up kit… more to follow.
Isaac now says “Elmo” and eats his peanut butter and jelly sandwich whole rather than me breaking it up into bite sized pieces. Oh my he is getting big. See new picts below

Isaac was having a great time in his crib and I couldn’t resist a cute boy in a onesie.

A sleeping angel. He loves to have the satin part of his “blankie bear” touching his face when he sleeps. Awww… I just want him to stay little forever, cuddling with blankie bear and giving his mommy “loves.”

Isaac and I had a great time together today. He was in the best mood all day long. Yeah, he still took his spills, the normal stuff, but he was just a joy to be with today. We went and had my tires rotated at a tire shop and he made friends with a young girl and her grandma in the waiting room. They played with some toy cars and trucks. There was another woman there who had a walker sitting in front of her and Isaac went over to it and was moving it around, checking it out. Good thing he’s cute or some old lady would be beating him with a cane by then.
Isaac learned how to “Mooo” like a cow this morning. He saw a picture of a cow and repeated me when I ‘mooed’. Is it bad that he refers to cows as “moo’s,” doggies as ‘bark bark’s, donkeys as ‘ha ha’s,’ and snakes as ’sssss’?
I am looking forward to some more scrapbooking in this weekend. We are going down to Santa Clarita to visit family and will spend Saturday at a crop. Hopefully, I’ll get some more done in Isaac’s baby album. Can’t wait.
